It shall be unlawful for any person to keep any swine within
the city limits.

Livestock may be kept in the city in accordance with the following
charts:
(a) When

An owner must maintain a secure enclosure for all livestock.
All enclosures for livestock must be located to the rear of any residence
on the lot or tract. An enclosure for livestock on a lot or tract
without a residence must be located in compliance with the permit
for its construction.

(a) It shall
be unlawful for any person to keep on-premises under his control,
within the city limits, any small or large livestock in such a manner
that the livestock will be quartered closer than 50 feet from any
human living quarters, other than the owner or keeper's living quarters.
(b) Any
pen or enclosure shall be maintained in such a manner as to be not
less than five feet from an adjoining residentially zoned property,
unless the owner has written permission from the adjoining property
owner.

Male equines (horses) capable of breeding will be confined in
such a manner that such animal will not be dangerous to human beings,
and all breeding will be under the control of the owner or handler.

(a) The
keeping of domesticated fowl on any lot or tract within the corporate
limits of the city shall be unlawful unless done in compliance with
this section.
(b) The occupant(s) of a residentially zoned lot or tract may keep or possess on such property no more than fifteen domesticated fowl, except as provided in subsection
(e).
(c) No more
than one male domesticated fowl of each species may be kept on any
lot or tract.
(d) Domesticated
fowl must be kept in a coop or pen in the rear of any structure on
the lot or tract and at least 50 feet from adjacent residential structures
at all times.
(e) If the
owner has obtained a current Texas Pullorum-Typhoid Certificate issued
by the Texas Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory, the owner may
keep up to a maximum of 25 show birds on a residential lot or tract
within the corporate limits of the city.

(a) The
occupant(s) of a residentially zoned lot or tract may keep or possess
on such property up to three rabbits under the following conditions:
(1) The
lot or tract of land under one ownership contains a minimum of 10,000
square feet;
(2) All
rabbits are kept in individual cages, unless they have been spayed
or neutered;
(3) All
rabbits are to be caged;
(4) Rabbits
and cages must be kept at least 50 feet from an adjacent residential
structure; and
(5) Rabbits
and cages must be kept in a manner at to not create a nuisance.
(b) Rabbits
must be kept in a coop or pen in the rear or any structure on the
lot or tract, except that rabbits may be kept in the front yard for
grazing purposes between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. daily.
