As used in this charter the following terms shall, unless the
context clearly requires otherwise, have the following meanings:
To select a person to fill an office or to employ in the
service of the town.
This charter and any amendments to it made through any of
the methods provided under Articles 89 and 113 of the amendments to
the Constitution.
The Official Edition of the General Laws.
A newspaper of general circulation in the town.
A majority of those present and voting; provided, that a
quorum of the body is present.
Any board, commission, committee, task force or other such
body of the town consisting of 2 or more persons, whether appointed
or elected.
The Town of Eastham.
Any office, department, board, committee or commission of
the Town government.
Registered voters of the Town of Eastham.
