Any article, section, paragraph or provision
of this chapter and the Zoning Map, which is a part of this chapter, may be amended, supplemented or repealed by the Town Board
after due notice and public hearing as required by Article 16 of the
Town Law of the State of New York, § 10 of the Municipal
Home Rule Law and § 10, Subdivision 6, of the Statute of
Local Governments.
Prior to the public hearing on any proposal
to amend, supplement or repeal this chapter or the Zoning Map, which
is a part of this chapter, the Town Board shall refer the proposal to the Southeast
Planning Board for a report, unless such proposal was initiated by
the Southeast Planning Board.
The Southeast Planning Board or any interested
party may petition the Town Board to amend, supplement or repeal any
article, section, subsection or provision of this chapter or the Zoning
Map, which is a part of this chapter.
