All permits issued by Smithfield Township, required by any Subsection,
Section, Subpart, Part, or Chapter of this Code or other ordinance,
resolution, rule or regulation of the Township, whether presently
in force or which may hereafter be adopted, including, but not limited
to, zoning permits, septic permits and driveway permits, shall be
posted upon the property upon which the work or construction is to
take place by the permit holder.

All permits must be conspicuously posted upon the premises for
which the permit applies, and must face the public or private road
abutting the premises. Said permit shall remain posted until completion
of the construction or work.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision
of this Part, upon conviction thereof in an action brought before
a district justice in the manner provided for the enforcement of summary
offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, shall
be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 plus costs and,
in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment
not to exceed 90 days. Each day that a violation of this Part continues
or each Section of this Part which shall be found to have been violated
shall constitute a separate offense.
