All the powers granted by the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the
State of New York to the Village Board of Trustees of the Village
are hereby delegated to the Mayor of the Village.
Every order of the Mayor relating to the regulation of traffic
made pursuant to the powers herein delegated shall be signed by the
Mayor, dated, numbered, attested by the Village Clerk, and have affixed
thereto the Village Seal. The effective date of the order shall be
the date of the filing of the order in the office of the Village Clerk,
which date of filing shall be placed on the order.
A copy of every such order of the Mayor shall be filed in the
organized records of the Village and maintained by the Village.
The violation of any such order made by the Mayor pursuant to
the powers herein delegated shall be punishable as described in the
Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York.
All traffic regulations in the Village now in effect shall be
construed to be continued and to be in full force and effect until
superseded by an order of the Mayor made pursuant to the powers herein
delegated.
