A. 
As authorized by New York State Village Law § 3-302, Subdivision 5a, all Trustees elected in the 2023 general Village election, and the successors to each such office in future elections, shall be elected to terms of four years each.
B. 
Those persons elected to the offices of Mayor and Trustees in the 2024 general election shall each be elected for a term of five years, as authorized by § 3-302, Subdivision 7c, of the New York State Village Law. Thereafter, as authorized by § 3-302, Subdivision 5a, of the New York State Village Law, the successors to each such office shall be elected in future elections to terms of four years each.
After Village elections are held in 2023 and 2024 to fill the positions of Mayor and Trustees which will expire in those years, the next general Village election shall be held in 2027, when the terms of office of the Trustees elected in 2023 shall end. Thereafter, as their terms expire, elections for the offices of Mayor and Trustees shall be held biennially in odd-numbered years, as authorized by § 3-302, Subdivision 7a, of the New York State Village Law.
Nothing herein shall affect the length of the term of office of the Village Justice which, in accordance with § 3-302, Subdivision 3, of the New York State Village Law, is four years. The next election for such position shall take place at the general Village election in 2023, and future elections for this position shall take place every fourth year in an odd-numbered year.
