[Ord. No. 23-002, 1-19-2023[1]]
The County of St. Charles, does hereby, separate from and in addition to the existing St. Charles County general retail sales tax of 1.725 percent, tax all retail sales of adult use marijuana sold in St. Charles County at the rate of three percent (3%) as authorized by Amendment 3 to the Constitution of Missouri as enacted by the voters at the November 8, 2022 election. This would tax only recreational marijuana and would not allow the taxation of medical marijuana.
