Wherever a space is marked off on any street
for the parking of an individual vehicle, every vehicle parked there
shall be parked wholly within the lines bounding that space, and it

[Added 11-2-2016 by Ord.
No. 2016-575]
No person shall park or allow to be parked any vehicle on any

[Amended 9-24-1997 by Ord. No. 97-346]
Any person who violates any provision of this article or any parking provision of the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code (75 Pa.C.S.A. Chapter
33, Subchapter E) shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $15 and costs (except as provided in §
400-21); provided, however, that it shall be the duty of the police officers and of parking enforcement personnel of the Township to report to the Township Manager or their designated representative all violations of any provision of this article, indicating, in each case, the section violated, the license number of the vehicle involved in the violation, the location where the violation took place and any other facts that might be necessary in order to secure a clear understanding of the circumstances attending the violation. The police officer or other person making the report shall also attach to or place upon every such vehicle (or issue to owner/operator if present) a notice stating that the vehicle was parked in violation of this article and/or the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code. This notice shall contain instructions to the owner/operator that a response to the Patton Township offices and the payment of the penalty as specified in this notice, within 72 hours of the time of the notice, will save the violator from further prosecution and costs.
