City of Garden Grove, CA Chapter 2.70 TRAFFIC COMMISSION

§ 2.70.010 Establishment of Traffic Commission.

A Traffic Commission consisting of seven members is hereby established.

§ 2.70.020 Duties and Responsibilities.

The Traffic Commission shall undertake and have the following duties, responsibilities, and functions, together with the powers incidental thereto:

A. To recommend to the Planning Commission amendments to the circulation element of the General Plan and associated implementation measures;

B. To study and make recommendations to the Planning Commission on proposed regional and state planning programs that are transportation related;

C. To make recommendations to the City Council regarding appropriate traffic control devices to be employed on city streets;

D. To study and make recommendations to the City Council on matters related to public transportation, traffic regulations, and standards for parking, vehicular, and public safety; and

E. To undertake such other duties as may be assigned by the City Council.
