The annual salaries, payable semi-monthly, of the Kaua'i County
Council shall be as established in the resolution adopted by the Salary
Commission and currently in effect; provided, however, that no change
in salary of Councilmembers shall be effective during the term in
which the change is enacted or for 24 months after the change is enacted,
whichever is less.
