There is established a senior commission of the city.

The senior commission shall consist of seven members appointed by the city council for overlapping four-year terms. No member shall serve more than two consecutive terms.

A. 
Advises the city council and/or involved city departments/committees on all matters affecting seniors in Roseville and makes recommendations on any senior program proposal to be considered by the city council.
B. 
Reviews the needs of seniors in Roseville and develops a set of comprehensive goals and objectives for effectively meeting those needs.
C. 
Monitors the various programs and services made available to seniors by both public and private agencies in Roseville to advocate efficient delivery of those services.
D. 
Communicates with Area 4 on Aging, Seniors First and other local, county, state or federal agencies and commissions serving seniors, and assists, if requested, in the preparation, implementation and review of any plan or program designed to serve seniors.
