Pursuant to Section 25283 of the
California
Health and Safety Code, the city hereby elects to assume
responsibility for administration and enforcement of Chapter 6.7 of
Division 20 of the California
Health and Safety Code (commencing with
Section 25280) relating to underground storage tanks and for the administration
and enforcement of the state regulations promulgated pursuant to Chapter
6.7 by the State Water Resources Control Board. (California Administrative
Code Title 23, Chapter 3, Subchapter 16, commencing with Section 2610.)
The fire prevention bureau of the Roseville fire department is hereby
designated as the implementing agency for administration and enforcement
of the state regulations relating to underground storage tanks.

Pursuant to Section 25502(b) of the
California
Health and Safety Code, the city hereby elects to assume
responsibility for administration and enforcement of Chapter 6.95
of Division 20 of the California
Health and Safety Code (commencing
with Section 25500) relating to hazardous materials release response
plans and inventory and for the administration and enforcement of
any state regulations promulgated pursuant thereto. The fire prevention
bureau of the Roseville fire department is hereby designated as the
implementing agency for administration and enforcement of the state
regulations relating to hazardous materials release response plans
and inventory.

The city council shall, by resolution,
adopt a schedule of fees to be paid by persons requiring permits,
inspections, or other administrative services pursuant to this chapter,
in an amount calculated to reimburse the city for the costs of administering
this chapter.
