Parking shall be permitted for four-hour periods only during
the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Borough of Hasbrouck Heights
official vehicles shall be exempt from this section while being used
for official Borough Business.
Notwithstanding any provision set out in this article or in
any other ordinance of the Borough, the Borough Administrator may,
in his/her discretion, from time to time suspend the regulations set
out herein and impose a per diem flat fee parking fee not to exceed
$25 per day per vehicle.
All of the parking spots shall in the Walter Avenue Municipal
Parking Lot shall distributed to residents of the Borough of Hasbrouck
Heights for their enjoyment and allow for overnight parking within
the confines of the regulations set below:
A.
Eligibility for overnight parking spots rental.
B.
Application and permit procedure. Applications shall be accepted
on a "first in time basis" annually.
(1)
Upon submission of applications, a fee set out in the Borough's Fee Ordinance § 133-21.2, Parking Lots, shall be due.
(2)
Permits shall be granted on a "first in time basis" annually.
(3)
Application forms shall be available through and submitted to the
Borough Clerk.
(4)
Permission in any one-year period shall not give the same party priority
in proceeding years.
C.
Rules and regulations.
(1)
Overnight parking shall be between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 8:00
a.m.
(2)
No commercial vehicles shall be allowed to park overnight.
(3)
Overnight parking shall be allowed by permit pursuant to this section
only.
(4)
The Borough of Hasbrouck Heights reserves the right to suspend this
section at the discretion of the Borough Administrator.
Article IV shall be subject to the same penalties as contained in § 190-11. In addition to the aforementioned, any vehicle found to be in violation of this article by any member of the Borough of Hasbrouck Heights Police Department shall be subject to towing and impoundment of same at the owner's expense.
