If any person provides an original or a copy of a document to Mannington Township pursuant to the certificate of insurance registration requirements of N.J.S.A. 40A:10A-2a (which law provides that the owner of a business, owner of a rental unit or units, and the owner of a multifamily home of four or fewer units, one of which is owner occupied, shall annually register the certificate of insurance demonstrating compliance with N.J.S.A. 40A:10A-1 with the municipality in which the business, rental units, or multifamily home is located), the Mannington Township Clerk shall file such original or copy with reference to the calendar year during which it is provided, with such other subfiling and/or cross-indexing as the Clerk may, from time to time, deem reasonable and appropriate.
Neither the Mannington Township Clerk nor any other Mannington Township employee, official or representative shall be responsible for monitoring or enforcing compliance with the certificate of insurance registration requirements of N.J.S.A. 40A:10A-2a. A person's failure to comply with N.J.S.A. 40A:10A-2a shall not be deemed a violation of any provision of the Mannington Township Code.
Neither the Mannington Township Clerk nor any other Mannington Township employee, official or representative shall be responsible for reviewing documents or copies of documents provided pursuant to § 64-22 above for compliance with, or for otherwise enforcing the requirements of, N.J.S.A. 40A:10A-1. A person's failure to comply with N.J.S.A. 40A:10A-1 shall not be deemed a violation of any provision of the Mannington Township Code.
No fee shall be required for providing an original or a copy of a document to Mannington Township pursuant to § 64-22 above.
