The official seal of the city shall be in the form of a die approximately one and one-half inches in diameter, the face of which is as set forth below:

The general design and details of the official emblem of the city, excluding colors, shall be in the form as set forth below:

The city seal and the city emblem are the property of the city. It shall be unlawful for any person to make or use the official seal or the official emblem of the city, or any cut, facsimile or reproduction thereof, or make or use any design, logo, symbol, insignia or similar device which is an imitation of the seal or the emblem, or which may be mistaken therefor, for malicious or commercial purposes, or for any purpose other than for the official business of the city, its city council, officers or departments, without the express consent of the city council.

The city clerk shall be the official custodian of the official seal and the official emblem of the city.
