All duties of assessing property and collecting taxes thereon
provided by state law to be performed by the city shall be performed
by the county assessor and the county tax collector of the county
of Orange, state of California, in accordance with provisions of Sections
51500 through 51519, inclusive, of the Government Code of the state
of California as the same now exists or may be amended, added to or
reenacted.

The compensation to be paid to the county for assessing and
collecting taxes for the city as aforesaid shall be fixed by agreement
between the county board of supervisors and the city council of the
city of Fountain Valley.
