Pursuant to Government Code Sections 71040 and 71042, the eight
judicial districts now existing in Merced County are consolidated
into one county-wide judicial district. Said judicial district shall
be a judicial district consisting of all of the territory lying within
the boundaries of the county of Merced, state of California, and shall
be called the Merced County judicial district.
