Those certain documents, three certified copies of which one
is on file in the office of the clerk, and two in the office of the
deputy director - buildings, marked and designated as California Code
of Regulations Title 24, Part 4, 2022 California Mechanical Code,
based on the 2021 Uniform Mechanical Code as published by the International
Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Code Officials and amended
by the California Building Standards Commission is hereby adopted
by reference and, except as herein otherwise provided, are applicable
to and shall govern all construction within the unincorporated area
of the county of Merced.

are deleted, amended, or superseded by other provisions as is hereinafter
indicated:

9, Section 934.4 is amended by the addition of the following:
Every evaporative cooler shall be provided with an approved
water circulating pump.
