The purpose of this chapter is to establish fees to be collected
by the surveyor's office of the Merced County department of public
works to offset incurred costs associated with processing and examining
parcel maps, subdivision maps, and record of survey maps.

The fee amounts that shall be collected are stipulated in Table
17.40.020(A). The fee shall include up to three submittal examinations.
Additional submittal examinations are $250 each.

The required fee shall be paid at the time the map is submitted
to the county surveyor's office for examination.
