Whenever the County Assessor, the head of any City department,
or other City official, finds that the provisions of this chapter
or of the Map Act have been violated, said official shall report the
violation to the Director of Planning and Building. It shall be the
duty of the Director of Planning and Building to investigate the report
and enforce the provisions of this chapter and the Map Act.
