Resolution and Order No. 73-87 of the county of Riverside board
of supervisors, approved and adopted by the voters of the city of
Rancho Mirage in the vote on incorporation on July 10, 1973, be and
is amended to repeal those provisions thereof which establish the
election of the members of the city council of the city of Rancho
Mirage by districts.

A.
Each
member of the city council shall be elected by the voters of the entire
City without regard to residency districts after April 13, 2004 provided
the term of office of any council member elected prior to April 13,
2004 shall not be effected by the addition of this chapter.
B.
Upon
expiration of the term of any council member holding office as of
April 13, 2004 the election for that seat shall be by all voters of
the city.
