The chief building official shall not issue a final clearance
or allow occupancy of any building without the clearance of fire authority
having jurisdiction. To include Group R occupancies located in the
State Responsibility Lands in the Fire Hazard Severity Zone.
Exceptions:
A.
Except
certain Residential Group R occupancies as defined in Section 310
of the California Building Code if on-site water or access is not
required.
