The Director is authorized to place pavement markings, markers, buttons, or signs within or adjacent to intersections indicating the course to be traveled by vehicles turning at such intersections, and the Director is authorized to allocate and indicate more than one lane of traffic from which drivers of vehicles may make right-hand or left-hand turns.

The Director is authorized to determine those intersections at which drivers of vehicles must not make a right, left, or U-turn, and must place proper signs at such intersections, including, but not limited to, intersections where a driver is not permitted to make a right turn against a red or stop signal. The Director may prohibit or permit such turns between certain hours of any day and must plainly indicate such hours on the signs.

Whenever authorized signs are erected indicating that no right, left, or U-turn is permitted, it is unlawful for any driver of a vehicle to disobey the directions of any such sign.
