Title 16 of the Municipal Code shall be known as the "Zoning Ordinance of the City of Claremont."
It is the intent of Title 16 to promote and protect the public health, safety and welfare by encouraging the most appropriate and desirable use and development of land, in accordance with the General Plan of the City of Claremont.
For the intent and purpose of this title, the following Zoning Districts are established and are delineated as shown on City of Claremont's "Official Zoning Map."
