Pursuant to California Penal Code Section 830.6(a)(2), those
Reserve Park Rangers of Sacramento County who have qualified as Level
1 Reserve Park Rangers pursuant to California Penal Code Section 832.6(a)(1)
and who have been and continue to be designated by the Chief Ranger
in writing as assigned to the prevention and detection of crime and
the general enforcement of the laws of this State shall be deemed
to be peace officers, and they shall possess the powers set forth
in California Penal Code Section 830.1. The Chief Ranger may revoke
the authority of any such officer at any time.

All other Reserve Park Rangers shall be permitted to exercise
the duties and functions described in California Penal Code Sections
830.6(a)(1) and 832.6(a)(2) and (3) as they have been certificated
to perform by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards
and Training. The Chief Ranger may revoke the authority of any such
officer at any time.
