It shall be unlawful for any person to enter upon or go upon:
(a) 
The lands of another under cultivation or enclosed by a fence; or
(b) 
Upon uncultivated or unenclosed lands where signs forbidding trespassing are displayed thereon without the permission of the owner of such premises or the person entitled to the use and occupancy thereof.
The provisions of this section shall not apply to the lawful performance of an official duty.
