The Traffic Authority may erect and maintain signs at any intersection prohibiting the making of right or left turns by drivers of vehicles wherever the Traffic Authority determines that such right or left turns would cause traffic congestion or traffic hazard. The making of such right or left turns may be prohibited between certain hours of any day and permitted at other hours. In such event the same shall be plainly indicated on the signs erected by the Traffic Authority.

When authorized signs are erected giving notice thereof, no vehicle shall be turned to the right or to the left in violation of the directions contained on such signs.

(a) 
Authority to place. The Traffic Authority may place markers, buttons, or signs within or adjacent to intersections indicating the course to be traveled by vehicles turning at such intersections.
(b) 
Obedience. When authorized markers, buttons, or other indications are placed within an intersection indicating the course to be traveled by vehicles turning at such intersections, no driver of a vehicle shall disobey the directions of such indications.

No person shall operate a motor vehicle so as to make a U turn at the following intersections in the Central Business District of the City, namely:
(a) 
Pacific Boulevard at Saturn Avenue;
(b) 
Pacific Boulevard at Zoe Avenue;
(c) 
Pacific Boulevard at Gage Avenue;
(d) 
Pacific Boulevard at Clarendon Avenue; and
(e) 
Pacific Boulevard at Randolph Street.
The appropriate City official or employee shall post signs to give notice where U turns are prohibited.

Gage Avenue at Rugby Avenue: eastbound and westbound traffic only;
(2) 
Gage Avenue at Rita Avenue: eastbound and westbound traffic only;
(3) 
Gage Avenue at Salt Lake Avenue: eastbound and westbound traffic only;
(4) 
Alameda Street at Randolph Street: northbound and southbound traffic only;
(5) 
Randolph Street at Maywood Avenue: northbound and southbound traffic only;
(6) 
Randolph Street at Malabar Street: northbound and southbound traffic only;
(7) 
Randolph Street at Seville Avenue: northbound and southbound traffic only;
(8) 
Slauson Avenue at Bickett Street: eastbound and westbound traffic only;
(9) 
55th Street at Pacific Boulevard: eastbound and westbound traffic only;
(10) 
Pacific Boulevard at Belgrave Avenue: eastbound and westbound traffic only;
(11) 
Randolph Street at Miles Avenue: northbound and southbound traffic only; and
(12) 
Randolph Street at State Street: eastbound and westbound traffic only.
