A. 
General regulations. It is necessary in the interest of public health, safety and welfare to establish minimum lot or parcel sizes for any lot or parcel in the Village's extraterritorial plat approval jurisdiction provided for in Wis. Stats. § 236.10.
B. 
Lands described. Lands included in this regulation are defined as all properties lying within 1.5 miles of the boundaries of the Village of Waterford, as defined in Wis. Stats. § 236.02(5).
C. 
Minimum lot or parcel size. The minimum lot or parcel size for a lot or parcel within the Village's one-and-one-half-mile extraterritorial plat review authority shall be 20 acres.
D. 
Whereas, due to Wis. Stats. § 66.0105 applying to the extraterritorial plat approval jurisdiction, the Villages of Rochester and Waterford have developed a map that will clarify the extraterritorial jurisdiction for both communities in the portions where the extraterritorial powers overlap.
E. 
Newly annexed lands shall extend the one-and-one-half-mile boundary automatically without update to this section with staff charged to update the map upon each annexation.
F. 
Previous agreement. If any contingent municipality has a boundary agreement with the Village, this section does not apply.
