For the purposes of this chapter, "billiard room" shall mean any place open to the public where billiards or pool is played or any house, room, or place, except a private residence, in which billiard or pool tables are kept and persons are permitted to play, or do play, whether any compensation or reward is charged for the use of such tables or not.

No person in charge of any public billiard room shall permit any intoxicated, quarreling, or disorderly person to remain in such place.

No person in charge of any public billiard room shall keep such room open, or permit such room to be kept open, or permit any game to be played therein from 1:00 a.m. on any day until 6:00 a.m. of the same day. No person in charge of any public billiard room shall permit any person, except the owner, manager, proprietor, or person in charge thereof, or employees thereof, to be or remain in such public billiard room from 1:00 a.m. on any day until 6:00 a.m. on the same day.
