[Adopted 4-22-1992 by L.L. No. 3-1992]
The Town of Wawayanda, pursuant to the authority granted by
Agriculture and Markets Law § 305(6), as amended by Chapter
562 of the Laws of 1991, hereby intends to extend the application
of the agricultural exemption provided in Agriculture and Markets
Law § 305(1) to include the fire and ambulance districts
within the Town of Wawayanda as follows.
It is hereby enacted that, in accordance with New York Agriculture
and Markets Law § 305(6), the assessment determined pursuant
to Subdivision 1 of said § 305 for property in the Town
of Wawayanda shall also be used for the benefit assessment of special
ad valorem levy for fire or ambulance districts.
This article shall take place immediately and shall apply to
assessment rolls prepared on the basis of taxable status dates occurring
on or after January 1, 1992.
