§ 70-15 Amendment to Section C101, Scope and General Requirements.

Section C101.1, Title, of the Building Code of the City of Lewes is amended by striking "[NAME OF JURISDICTION]" and inserting "City of Lewes."

§ 70-16 Amendment to Section C109, Board of Appeals.

Delete Section C109 regarding the Board of Appeals in its entirety.

§ 70-17 Amendment to Chapter 2, Definitions.

Section C201.3, Terms defined in other codes, of the Building Code of the City of Lewes is amended by inserting a new sentence at the end of Section 201.3 as follows: "Where terms are explicitly defined in the Municipal Code of the City of Lewes, such definitions shall be controlling in all instances unless inconsistent with the manifest intent of the Mayor and City Council or the context clearly requires otherwise."
