The board of health shall consist of three members who shall
be appointed in accordance with Chapter 111, Section 26 of the General
Laws.

The board of health shall annually, in the month of February,
meet and organize by the choice of a chair and clerk. It may, with
the approval of the mayor, make such regulations for its government
and the government of all subordinate officers in its department as
it may deem expedient. A majority of the board of health shall constitute
a quorum for the transaction of business.

A full record shall be kept of all votes and acts of the board
of health, which may at any time be examined by the mayor or by any
member of the city council.

The board of health shall have and exercise all the powers vested
in city boards of health under the General Laws and acts in amendment
thereof and additions thereto. It shall make such regulations as it
deems wise regarding the health and well-being of the residents of
the city of Revere, and shall perform such other duties as may from
time to time be prescribed by the mayor and the city council.
