A. 
It shall be the policy of the Township, as it has been in the past, that the Township Commissioners will consider accepting a road or street as a Township road or street when the road or street is built according to plans previously approved by the Township Commissioners and according to Township specifications and upon the construction of houses or other buildings on at least 75% of the lineal frontage of the properties facing the road or street.
B. 
All streets, sidewalks and other improvements that are to be offered to the Township shall comply with the Manheim Township Construction and Material Specifications Manual (C&MSM), which is hereby adopted and incorporated herein by reference. A copy of the title page and abbreviated table of contents of the current version of the C&MSM (last revised May 16, 2025) is attached hereto as Exhibit A.[1] Revisions to the C&MSM and/or new versions of the C&MSM may be made and approved by a resolution adopted by the Manheim Township Board of Commissioners. To the extent any provisions of the C&MSM conflict with other standards or provisions, the more stringent standards shall apply.
The Construction and Material Specifications Manual (C&MSM), last revised May 16, 2025, is hereby adopted and incorporated herein by reference. A copy of the title page and abbreviated table of contents of the C&MSM is attached hereto as Exhibit A. Revisions to the C&MSM may be made by a resolution approved by the Manheim Township Board of Commissioners.

No streets will be accepted unless the required curbing and, where required by the Lancaster County Planning Commission, sidewalks have been completed by the developer or owner in accordance with Article II, Sidewalk and Curb Requirements, of this chapter.
