It shall be unlawful for any person to indulge in disorderly, noisy
or riotous conduct within the village or to destroy the peace and quiet of
the village or any meeting or assembly therein.
It shall be unlawful for any person to gather, congregate or loiter
on the streets or sidewalks within the village or in the doorways adjacent
thereto so as to impede traffic or to the annoyance of passersby.
It shall be unlawful for any person to appear on any of the streets
or in any public building or other public place in the village in a state
of intoxication.
No person shall publicly use any profane, obscene or indecent language
in any street or public place in the village.
No person shall commit in or about any street or public place within
the village or in any other place within the village, in such manner as to
annoy any other person, any lewd, wanton, indecent, immodest, obscene or filthy
act or gesture or conduct.
No person shall expose, display, post up, exhibit, paint, print or mark
or place or cause to be placed any placard, poster, bill or package or advertisement
on any building, billboard, wall, fence, tree or other surface on any street
or public place or which shall be visible from any street or public place
in the village, which shall be of lewd, indecent, immodest, immoral, vulgar
or suggestive character or which shall be calculated to debauch the public
or shock the sense of decency or propriety.
The throwing of stones, snowballs and other missiles and the playing
or throwing of balls and use of air rifles and air guns within the streets
of the village is hereby declared unlawful.
Spitting upon the sidewalk or crosswalk of any public street, avenue,
park, public square or place in the village, or upon the floor of any hall
in any tenement house which is used in common by the tenants thereof, or upon
the floor of any hall or lodging house which is used in common by the guests
thereof, or upon the floor of any theater, schoolhouse, church, store, factory
or any building which is used in common by the public, or upon the floor of
any depot or station, or upon the floor of any public conveyance, or upon
the station platform of any common carrier is hereby forbidden.

Every person convicted of a violation of any of the provisions of this
chapter shall for the first conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not
less than $100 and not more than $1,000; for a second or subsequent conviction
within 12 months after any previous conviction, such person shall be punished
by a fine of not less than $200 and not more than $2,000 or by imprisonment
for not more than 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each day
of continued violation shall constitute a separate additional violation.
