This chapter shall be known as the "House Trailer Ordinance."
For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated.
TRAILER COACH, HOUSE CAR or AUTOMOBILE TRAILER
Any vehicle or structure so designed and constructed in such manner
as will permit occupancy thereof as living or sleeping quarters for one or
more persons or for the conduct of any business or profession, occupation
or trade, and so designed that it is or may be mounted on wheels and used
as a conveyance on the City streets or highways, propelled or drawn by its
own or other motive power, or so designed that the wheels may be removed and
the same placed upon permanent blocking or mounting.
Any trailer coach, house car or automobile trailer now located within
the City of Hudson and being used for business, residence or sleeping quarters
must have its wheels removed and be placed on a permanent foundation and connected
to the City sewer and water systems, and comply in all respects with the requirements
of the Building and Plumbing Codes of the City of Hudson, within 90 days from the effective date of this chapter, or be
removed from the premises where it is now located.

Any person committing an offense against any provision of this chapter
shall be guilty of a violation punishable as follows: by imprisonment for
a term not exceeding 15 days or by a fine not exceeding $250, or by both such
fine and imprisonment. The continuation of an offense against the provisions
of this chapter shall constitute, for each day the offense is continued, a
separate and distinct offense hereunder.
