There is hereby created an office within the Department of Administration
to be known as the "Office of Public Safety." Said office shall have
the responsibility for coordinating administration of emergency medical
service, fire services, and emergency management; provide all computer,
telephone, and radio support services within the Borough; mitigate
the results and render aid in the case of a disaster or accident;
and coordinate the Emergency Operations Center with other Borough
operations.
The Borough Emergency Management Agency is under the direction and control of the Mayor, pursuant to Chapter
16 of the Borough of Middletown Code of Ordinances.
