Subject to recall by ordinance, the duties of the Borough Secretary
shall include the following:
A. Those
duties prescribed by the Code of the Borough of Middletown, the Pennsylvania
Borough Code and other laws of the commonwealth.
B. Executive
Secretary to the Borough Manager.
C. Maintenance
of all files and records of the Borough of Middletown, including but
not limited to:
(1) Agendas and true and correct record (minutes) of all regular, special
and adjourned meetings of the Borough Council.
(2) Ordinances and resolutions proposed and/or adopted by the Borough
Council.
(3) Decisions of the Planning Commission, Zoning Hearing Board, Code
Hearing Board, Shade Tree Commission or other such boards, commissions
or committees established by or appointed by the Borough Council.
(4) Personnel records of the Borough, excepting those of sworn Police
Officers.
D. The
signature of the Borough Secretary shall be affixed to all resolutions,
ordinances, vouchers, checks and all other legal documents of the
Borough.
E. Other
such duties which may be assigned by the Borough Manager.
The Borough Secretary shall report to the Borough Manager.
