A. There shall be a Construction Official appointed by the Township Council for a term of four years and until his/her successor is duly appointed and qualified, who shall have such powers and perform such duties as more fully set forth in Chapter
62, Dangerous and Unfit Buildings; Chapter
64, Numbering of Buildings; Chapter
67, Certificates of Occupancy; Chapter
70, Uniform Construction Code; Chapter
111, Housing Standards; and Chapter
150, Property Maintenance, of this Code.

B. In addition to a Construction Official, there shall also be Construction Subcode Officials for Building, Electric, Plumbing, and Fire. Each official shall be appointed by the Township Council for a term of one year until his/her successor is duly appointed and qualified and shall have such powers and perform such duties as more fully set forth in Chapter
70, Uniform Construction Code; Chapter
111, Housing Standard; and Chapter
150, Property Maintenance, of this Code.

A Zoning Officer shall be appointed by the Township
Council for a term of one year and until a successor is appointed
and duly qualified. The Zoning Officer shall be charged with the administration
and enforcement of the Zoning Ordinance and shall have all the powers, functions and duties prescribed
by general law and the ordinances of the Township.
