It shall be the duty of the Village Clerk to
enter in the book of minutes and proceedings of the Village Board
of Trustees all laws and resolutions of said Board within 10 days
from the date of passage thereof.

It shall be the duty of the Village Clerk to:
A.
Cause every local law enacted by the Board of Trustees
to be published as required by Municipal Home Rule Law § 27
and, at the expiration of such publication, to procure the affidavits
of the printers or publishers of said papers proving such publication
as aforesaid and file the same in his office.
B.
Cause all notices required to be published by the
Act of Incorporation to be published as in said Act directed, except
when the duty of publishing such notices is imposed by law, or a law
of the Trustees, on some other officer.
It shall be the duty of the Village Clerk to
preserve, safely keep and methodically arrange all papers, maps, surveys,
books, deeds and vouchers belonging to the Village or relating to
its affairs which now are or hereafter shall come to his possession
as such Clerk and to mark on all papers filed in his office the time
of filing the same.
It shall be the duty of the Village Clerk to:
A.
Record in a book to be provided at the expense of
the Village the maps of all surveys that now are or hereafter may
be made for the Village by direction of the Village Board of Trustees.
B.
To record in a separate book the surveys of all streets,
roads, alleys and highways in said Village which shall hereafter be
made in pursuance of any order of the Village Board of Trustees.
It shall be the duty of the Village Clerk to
inform all persons who are appointed or elected to any Village office
or position, by notice in writing, of such election or appointment.
It shall be the duty of the Village Clerk to
register, in a separate book kept for the purpose, the names of all
of the fire fighters of the Village, designating the company to which
each fire fighter belongs, together with the time of appointment of
such fire fighter and the time such person ceased to be a fire fighter.
