A.
Time limits. Parking a passenger vehicle in a defined parking stall in the short-term parking area of the Central Municipal Lot shall be permitted, free of charge, for up to two hours during the periods from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Except as otherwise prohibited, parking during other hours in designated parking stalls in the short-term parking area is unrestricted. Parking in drive lanes or on areas other than those striped for parking stalls is prohibited at all times.
B.
Zone designations:
(1)
All-day parking area: White pavement markings shall be used to designate all-day parking area stalls and all striped areas in the all-day parking area.
(2)
Short-term parking area: Yellow pavement markings shall be used to designate short-term parking area stalls and all striped areas in the short-term parking area.
(3)
Direction arrows: Yellow pavement markings will be used to indicate lane designation arrows in all areas of the lot.
(4)
Signs: Signage directing drivers to the all-day and short-term parking areas shall refer to the color of the parking stalls used in those areas.
C.
Designated town office and town resident parking areas.
(1)
Four spaces located east of the town office, and designated as “Town Office Parking,” shall be reserved exclusively for parking for officials of the Town of Skaneateles, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excepting legal holidays during which time Town offices are closed for business.
D.
Left turns. The left turning of vehicles proceeding southerly on the driveway from the Municipal Parking Lot to proceed east on East Genesee Street is hereby prohibited.
