Any violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed a violation
and shall be punishable by a fine of at least $50 but not to exceed $500 or,
in any appropriate case, by imprisonment not exceeding 15 days, or both such
fine and imprisonment.
Each separate offense shall constitute a separate violation.
Should any section or provision of this chapter be deemed by the courts
to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity
of the chapter as a whole, or any part thereof, other than the section or
part so decided by the courts to be unconstitutional or invalid.
This chapter shall take effect upon proper filing with the New York
Secretary of State.
