This chapter shall be applicable to all recreational facilities of the Town of Pound Ridge.
Town recreation facilities are maintained for the sole use and enjoyment of the residents of the Town of Pound Ridge and their guests. Use by others is prohibited.

Use of Town recreational facilities shall be limited to between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Use of Town recreational facilities between the hours of 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. without prior written permission of the Recreation Commission of the Town of Pound Ridge is prohibited. Exception to this restriction is paddle tennis court use. Posted hours for the paddle tennis court will govern its use.
Use of any Town recreation facility for any organized special activity without a special activity permit issued by the Recreation Commission is prohibited. The decision on such a permit is in the discretion of the Recreation Commission, which is empowered to grant or withhold a special activity permit.
A. 
The speed limit for all areas within Town recreational facilities where use of motor vehicles is permitted is 10 miles per hour.
B. 
Parking is prohibited except in specifically designated areas.
C. 
Use of any mechanically powered vehicle other than park equipment on prescribed roadways or parking areas is prohibited.
D. 
Horseback riding on all athletic fields is prohibited. Horseback riding shall be permitted on all other areas.
E. 
Hunting and/or the carrying of firearms or other weapons is prohibited.
F. 
The possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages without prior written permission of the Town Recreation Commission is prohibited.
G. 
All refuse created by use of any recreational facility must be placed in bags next to designated receptacles. All littering and destruction or defacing of Town property is prohibited.
H. 
Fires are prohibited in all areas and facilities not specifically intended and designated for such use.
I. 
Loitering and disorderly conduct is prohibited.
J. 
Soliciting and peddling is prohibited.
K. 
Golfing is prohibited in the park.

Dogs must be leashed and licensed by the Town.

The swimming pool is available on a subscription basis for use by Town residents, nonresidents and their guests. The pool is to be used only when a lifeguard is on duty and in accordance with posted rules and regulations.
Swimming or boating in the Town pond is prohibited. Ice-skating on the pond is prohibited except when the pond is posted by the Town Recreation Commission as available for ice-skating.
Use of the tennis and paddle tennis courts is conditioned upon compliance with rules and regulations posted thereon.
Any fraudulent misrepresentation to the Town Recreation Commission or its representatives is prohibited and will result in the revocation of all privileges to use the Town Park or any other recreational facilities and/or prosecution.

Every violation of this chapter shall constitute an offense and shall be punishable by a penalty of not more than $250 or imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both, and suspension or revocation of all recreation privileges.
