Nothing in this Part 1 shall limit, substitute
or supersede any requirement of the Workers' Compensation Law with
regard to treatment and care of injured employees and/or the record
and reporting of job-related injuries or illness.
Upon payment of § 207-c Benefits,
claim shall be made by the Self-Insurance Department to the Workers'
Compensation Board for reimbursement of 207-c Benefits paid through
said Self-Insurance Plan. Wage or salary benefits awarded by the Workers'
Compensation Board shall be payable to the county for periods during
which a claimant received § 207-c Benefits. If the claimant
shall have received any Workers' Compensation Benefits hereunder which
were required to be paid to the county, the claimant shall repay such
benefit received to the county or such amount due may be offset from
any § 207-c Benefits thereafter due. Upon termination of § 207-c
and wage benefits, continuing workers' compensation wage or salary
benefits shall be payable to the applicant.
Payment of the full amount of regularly salary
or wage benefits under § 207-c of the General Municipal
Law shall be discontinued with respect to any claimant who is granted
an accidental disability pension.
