This article shall be known and may be cited
as the "Water Conservation Law of the Town of Yorktown."
The Town of Yorktown is currently unable to
meet the demands of its residents during peak periods of water consumption,
and certain problems affecting the Town's water supply are expected
to make this condition worse. It is, therefore, the intent of this
article to restrict the inefficient or nonessential use of water and
to provide for the enforcement of water conservation measures in the
Town of Yorktown for the protection of the health, safety and welfare
of the residents of the Town.
This article shall be enforced by the Police
Department of the Town of Yorktown.
