For purposes of all municipal elections, the City of Bangor shall consist of one voting district, also known as "ward." The boundaries of such district encompass the four districts established by virtue of L. 2021, c. 490 (as it may be amended from time to time) for the election of members of the State of Maine House of Representatives from the City of Bangor.
The voting district established under this article shall include one precinct.
The Bangor City Council shall establish by Council order one voting place.

The compensation of wardens shall be $1.50 per hour above federal or state minimum wage, whichever is higher, and of ward clerks shall be $1 per hour above federal or state minimum wage, whichever is higher, and of election and ballot clerks shall be $0.50 above federal or state minimum wage, whichever is higher, for each election at which they shall respectively attend and perform faithful and satisfactory service.
