No person except in connection with authorized military
operations shall store, keep, handle, use, dispense or transport at,
in or upon the airport any Class A or Class B explosives (as defined
in the Interstate Commerce Commission regulations for transportation
of explosives and other dangerous articles), dynamite, nitroglycerin,
black powder, fireworks, blasting caps or other explosives, gasoline,
alcohol, either liquid shellac, kerosene, turpentine, formaldehyde
or other flammable or combustible liquids, ammonium nitrate, sodium
chlorate, wet hemp, powdered metallic magnesium nitrocellulose film,
peroxides or other readily inflammable solids or oxidizing materials,
hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid or other corrosive liquids, prussic
acid, phosgene, arsenic, carbolic acid, potassium cyanide, tear gas,
lewisite or any Class A poisons (as defined in the Interstate Commerce
Commission regulations for transportation of explosives and other
dangerous articles) or any compressed gas or any radioactive article,
substance or material at such time or place or in such manner or condition
as to endanger unreasonably person or property. The Airport Director
may require that a permit for the storage of all such materials be
obtained from the City of Bangor, to be conspicuously posted at each
location and subject to annual inspection and renewal. Materials normally
stored on and for the operational use of an aircraft shall be exempt
from the provisions of this subsection.
