When there is a change of ownership, tenancy or use of any nonresidential
property, or when the Building Code Official deems it necessary, an application
for a certificate of continued occupancy must be filed with the Code Official.
He shall then inspect the property to assure all requirements of the Code
and any approved site plans are being met.
When said inspection is completed and any infractions of the Code have
been corrected to the satisfaction of the Building Code Official, he will
issue a certificate of continued occupancy.
The fee for a certificate of continued occupancy shall be set forth in Chapter
205, Article
II, Fee Schedule, payable at the time the application is filed with the Code Official.
Any fees not mentioned in this chapter shall be calculated in accordance
with N.J.A.C. 5:23-4.20, Departmental Fees.
