is the continuation of the center line of the runway.
B.
Runway larger than utility with a visibility
minimum greater than three-quarter-mile nonprecision instrument approach
zone (applies to Runway 9 end). The inner edge of the approach coincides
with the width of the primary surface and is 500 feet wide. The approach
zone expands outward uniformly to a width of 800 feet at a horizontal
distance of 1,000 feet from the primary surface. Its center line is
the continuation of the center line of the runway.
C.
Transitional zones. The transitional zones are
areas beneath the transitional surfaces
D.
Horizontal zone: swinging arcs of ten-thousand-foot
radii from the center of each end of the primary surface to each runway

surface and at the same slope as the approach zone height limitations
slope set forth in this chapter. The perimeter of the approach surface
shall coincide with the perimeter of the approach zone.
BASE FLOOD ELEVATION (BFE)
