[Amended at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. II)]
Any application for annexation of a territory contiguous to the present corporate limits of the City of Lewes made by a property or group of property owners to the City Council shall contain the following information:
A. 
Description of the property.
B. 
Recent survey plot of the property.
C. 
Statement of reasons for annexation and grounds in support thereof.
D. 
Petition fee payable to the City of Lewes for petition for annexation as follows:

(1) 
Lands to be zoned residential or mixed residential and commercial district: $350 for property less than one acre.
(2) 
Lands to be zoned residential or mixed residential and commercial district: $2,500 for property one to five acres.
(3) 
Lands to be zoned residential or mixed residential and commercial district: $2,500, plus $100 per acre for property over five acres.
(4) 
Lands to be zoned for any nonresidential district: $2,500, plus $500 per acre.
(5) 
The fee for annexation includes any fee required to add said property to a zoning district of the City.
E. 
The applicant shall notify, by certified mail with return receipt requested, the property owners certified by the applicant to be the property owners within 100 feet of the boundaries of the property which is the subject of the application, that such application is being filed with the City and the applicant shall provide proof of same to the City with the application.

F. 
The signature of each property owner filing the petition for annexation.
G. 
If any applicant is a partnership, the names and addresses of the individuals composing the partnership, including all limited partners.

If any applicant is a corporation, the name and address of each stockholder owning more than 10% of the stock of the corporation, the name and address of each officer and the name and address of each member of the Board of directors or other governing body.
