Snowmobile routes. Pursuant to the Vehicle Code,
75 Pa. C.S.A., § 7722, the following streets are hereby
designated as snowmobile roads:

Such streets designated as snowmobile roads
shall be shared with vehicular traffic.
Except to cross streets or highways as permitted
by the Vehicle Code, no snowmobile shall be operated on any street
within the Borough of Kane except those herein designated as snowmobile
roads.
No snowmobile shall be operated within the Borough
of Kane before the hour of 6:00 a.m. No snowmobile shall be operated
in the Borough of Kane after 11:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday, Friday and Sunday or after the hour of 1:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Streets designated as snowmobile roads shall
be used only for the purpose of entering or leaving the Borough of
Kane in order to gain access to snowmobile trails existing beyond
the borough limits and for no other purpose.
Every snowmobile within the limits of the Borough
of Kane shall have affixed to it a permit of blaze orange color at
least one foot square mounted six feet above the track of the snowmobile.
Any person who shall violate any provision of this Article
VIII shall, upon conviction before a District Justice, be subject to a fine of not less than $10 nor more than $300 or, in default of payment thereof, be sentenced to the McKean County Jail for a period not to exceed 30 days.
